The website conversion is probably the most overlooked aspect of web design. If you can imagine the reason why someone would be on your website in the first place than you should also understand that the visit is fleeting unless you do something to maintain contact.
A website conversion does not necessarily mean a visitor has turned into a client. That of course is the ultimate conversion but you should think of conversions as smaller steps on the way to becoming a customer.
If you've listened to any marketing guru out there, you know that a business must "touch" the client as many as 7 times before that client becomes comfortable enough to do business. The website counts as ONE touch...no matter how many pages he's looked at.
There are two absolutely essential elements to web design that will help you get conversions. They are obvious. The first is a phone number! Duh. The second is a contact form. We do not recommend any business post the email address. There are several reasons for this but really we want to CAPTURE the visitors email address and his contact information.
